The Garden Club of Long Valley

Organized July 1970, Member of The Garden Club of New Jersey and The National Garden Club

Our Mission Statement:  The Garden Club of Long  Valley strives to promote general interest in gardening in the community, encourage civic beauty, and roadside beautification and to study and teach the fine art of horticulture.  The Club will aid in the conservation and protection of our natural resources and work to stimulate an interest in gardening and conservation among the youth of our community while furthering the objectives recommended by The Garden Club of New Jersey 

Regular meetings-The Garden Club of Long Valley serves Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey and surrounding areas.  The club meets on the first Tuesday of most months at 7:30pm in members' homes or local establishments. 

Plant Sale-Each year on the Saturday before Mother's Day we hold a plant sale featuring hanging baskets, patio containers, native plants, pollinator plants,  herbs, and special member grown selections of perennials, herbs, shrubs, etc.  The proceeds benefit our Community Beautification program as well as our other projects.
